Delhi, June 15
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has been summoned by Enforcement Directorate (ED) for the third consecutive day on the money-laundering case relating to National Herald newspaper.
Rahul Gandhi reached the ED headquarters in Delhi at around 11.30 am for Day 3 of questioning.
Congress workers were detained from outside the ED headquarters where they held demonstration and chanted slogans in support of Rahul Gandhi.
Rahul Gandhi was questioned for 11 hours on Tuesday and his statement was recorded in multiple sessions under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.
His questioning began on Monday and he was questioned for around 10 hours.
Rahul Gandhi was questioned in detail about the ownership of Young Indian Private Limited (YIL) by the Gandhi family and shareholding pattern in Associated Journals Limited (AJL).
Meanwhile, Congress said that this is clearly political vendetta and they will continue their peaceful agitation.
