The Health and Family Welfare Minister, Punjab Mr. Chetan Singh Jauramajra today visited various locations of Aam Aadmi clinics in SAS Nagar District that are going to be dedicated to the public on August 15. Deputy Commissioner Mr. Amit Talwar and SSP Mr. Vivek Sheel Soni were also accompanying the Health Minister. Health Minister was given a guard of honour by a contingent of the Punjab Police when he arrived at the Aam Aadmi Clinic at Jandpur village in Kharar constituency.
Health Minister Mr. Jauramajra said that the motive of his visit is to take stock of the infrastructure, equipment, deployment of doctors etc. in these Aam Aadmi clinics. He said that the Aam Aadmi government is opening Aam Aadmi clinics in cities and rural areas to provide quality health facilities to the people under the concept of healthy mind and healthy thinking. He said that the health services at these clinics will start on August 15. He said that by rising above the partisanship and caste divide, good health facilities will be provided to one and all.
The Health Minister visited the Aam Aadmi clinics at village of Jandpur, Chhajjumajra of Kharar constituency. After this, various Aam Aadmi clinics built at Saidpur and Lalru villages of Derabassi constituency. Along with this, he also visited the government hospitals of Derabassi and Lalru and interacted with the patients there. MLA Derabassi Mr. Kuljit Singh Randhawa was also present on this occasion.
During this visit, the Health Minister also took stock of the health problems faced by the people on a daily basis and assured to solve them soon. The gathering of people presents on the occasion thanked the Punjab government while expressing their happiness for the clinics being opened in their cities and villages.
