Dr. H.K. Bali gave health tips to traders to keep their heart healthy

Navratra to begin for CBM members on a healthy note..A gala function full of Music, Drinks and delicious dining was held yesterday at Hotel Novotel, Industrial Area, Chandigarh to celebrate WORLD HEART DAY in collaboration with Heart Foundation up.
Sh. Sat Pal Gupta Chairman, Sh. Charanjiv Singh President and Sh. Diwakar Sahoonja Patron of CBM were honored by the Heart Foundation.
Sh. Diwakar Sahoonja Patron welcomed Dr. H.K. Bali and members of the Beopar Mandal and appreciated the effort of Heart Foundation to organize such fruitful interaction.
Sh. Charanjiv Singh President said that we have organized this function in collaboration with heart foundation to bring awareness amongst our members to keep their heart healthy by changing their lifestyle.
A health talk was delivered by Dr H K Bali, a renowned Cardiologist where many members participated in interaction session .Dr H K Bali shared concern of members over rising cases of heart failures amongst Gym enthusiasts, Celebrities and even in younger generation in recent days.
Dr. Bali advised morning walk or regular exercises of an hour every day, Intake of Healthy food cooked without trans fat, Maintaining regular physical activities and keeping stress free and composed mind in general. A prior medical checkup is must before one begins any new routine aggressive exercises.
The evening where Band Rudraksh entertained the audience many lucky draws for early birds were also held and winners have been Parshotam Mahajan, Lucky Sawhni, Shiny Taneja, Harish Bansal and Kirpal Dogra. Fun and frolic continued till late night. Many other Senior Functionaries of CBM also participated in conducting the lucky draw of free Heart checkup packages etc on the stage namely Subhash Narang, Gurcharan Batra & Anil Vohra
