Shimla, July 31
Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla successfully conducted the inaugural session of Aarohan-2022: The Orientation Programme for B.A./B.B.A.LLB.Hons. (FYIP) students on July 30, 2022. The Inaugural session of Aarohan- the orientation programme witnessed the presence of 150 students along with their parents.
The inaugural address for the session was presented by Prof (Dr.) NishthaJaswal,Vice-Chancellor, HPNLU, Shimla and she emphasised on hard-work , discipline and holistic learning for the students.
Hon’ble Mr. Justice Amjad A. Sayed, Chief Justice of High Court ofHimachal Pradesh, Shimla and Chancellor, Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla was the Chief Guest for the event.Hon’ble Mr. Justice Amjad A. Sayed, while addressing the students expounded that each student has an equal opportunity and capability to excel in legal profession.
The event was also graced by the benign presence of Prof. Gurdip Singh Bahri, Chancellor, IMS Unison University, Dehradun. He inspired students to work hard and remain pro-active throughout their life.The inaugural session was followed by an interactive session with parents of students with Hon’ble Vice Chancellor and Office Bearers of Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla.
The eminent legal luminaries enlightened the students and their parents with their valuable words of wisdom, insightful thoughts and motivational address. The inaugural sessionwas successfully concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof (Dr.) S.S. Jaswal(Registrar) HPNLU, Shimla.
