Bhavan Chandigarh all set to unveil 13th Edition of BVCMUN

; BVCMUN2022 – ‘From Deliberation to Action’

Chandigarh, 2nd August 2022: 

Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh is all set to unveil the 13th edition of its coveted Model United Nations Conference the coming weekend. Set to be held from 5th to 7th of August, this event is being held offline after two years, during which it was held online via teleconference due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Governor of Punjab and UT Administrator Shri Banwarilal Purohit will be the Chief Guest of the Opening Ceremony to be held on the morning of the 5th at Tagore Theatre.

This much awaited conference is set to bring together the best schools across the country and present young minds with complex real life problems, with the intent of empowering them with the courage to hone their skills in debate and dialogue and enable them to look at their larger purpose in life in the global context.

The school is proud to be hosting close to 400 delegates from over 56 schools from all over India and abroad, including teams from Kuwait, UAE and the United Kingdom. The BVCMUN is renowned for offering its participants an exceptional platform to engage in deliberations and contemporary debating. With the theme this year being ‘From Deliberation to Action’ BVCMUN 2022 aims to address the numerous challenges plaguing the world today through its eight compelling committees and agendas.

A highly reputed Executive Board with members from various parts of the country will be presiding over the conference to judge the delegates. Mrs. Vineeta Arora, Director & Sr. Principal, Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh expressed her delight and lauded the effort of the 25 member organizing committee, who have put in their heart and soul to put together this remarkable event.
