Dr. Ranjana Bhandari, Assistant Professor (Temp) at University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Panjab University has received a visting research fellowship of 4000 USD from International Society of Neurochemistry (ISN)-CEAN to pursue research at Florey Institute of Neuroscience, University of Melbourne in collaboration with Prof. Andrew Lawrence, Deputy Director (Science) & Division Head Florey Institute of Neuroscience & Mental Health Melbourne Brain Centre, University of Melbourne.
Prof. Lawrence’s lab is working in the area of addiction research. Dr. Bhandari would work in the area of “Understanding reward circuitry difference/alcohol-seeking & relapse behaviour in Autism Spectrum Disorder”. Dr. Ranjana Bhandari has been actively working in the area of Autism Spectrum Disorders and had done her PhD under the supervision of Dr. Anurag Kuhad, Assistant Professor at University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Panjab University & Prof. Jyoti K Paliwal, Ex Director Ranbaxy Laboraories and Ex-Vice-President Wockhardt.
