College Students witnessed the high tech technology setup of their City Beautiful

“Technology ki Pathshaala” is an initiative of Chandigarh Smart City Limited to energize the young innovative minds with the technology being used in their own city at Integrated Command & Control Centre (ICCC), Sector 17, Chandigarh.
The Phase II of Technology Ki Pathshaala has been started today in which the visit to ICCC was being organized to raise awareness about the functioning of the project among college students of various courses. A group of 40 students along with their teachers from Government College of Commerce and Business Administration, Sector 50, Chandigarh visited Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) today and a demonstration was given on the video wall.
This state of the art command center is integrated with major citizen services including E-governance, Solid Waste Door to Door Garbage Collection, Public Bike Sharing, Street lights, Chandigarh Transport Undertaking etc.
The students were shown how ICCC has been helping in providing the safety and security to the citizens. Additionally, it was shown that how the Command Center ensures citizens safety and what are the real advantages of placing more than 2500 cameras across 300 different locations across the city.
The purpose behind the activity is to create awareness among the younger generation. Students had a very interactive and enjoyable session where they all participated actively.
