F&CC approves appointment of CSIR – NEERI for the project of Integrated Solid Waste Management Processing Facility at Chandigarh

Chandigarh, November 25:-

 The Finance and Contract committee of Municipal Corporation Chandigarh has decided to appoint of CSIR – National Environment Engineering Research Institution (NEERI) – Nagpur as Consultant for the project “Integrated Solid Waste Management Processing Facility at Chandigarh”. This was decided in a meeting of F&CC held here today under the chairpersonship of Smt. Sarbjit Kaur Dhillon, Mayor and attended other members of committee namely Sh. Mahesh Inder Singh Sidhu, Sh. Saurabh Joshi, Smt. Taruna Mehta, Smt. Gurbax Rawat  and other senior officers of MCC were present during the meeting.

The members of committee discussed other various important agenda items in detail and accorded approval for the following:

·         The re-laying of paver/concrete track after talking out/demolishing existing track in Green Belts of Sector 37 & 38, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 37.00 lacs.

·         Restoration of street light system on V3 Road, Sector 1/2, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 26.17 lacs

·         Restoration of street light system on V3 Road, Sector 1/5, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 35.75 lacs

·         Providing and installing furniture in Councillor Office at village Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 01.59 lacs.

·         Providing and fixing of new paver block/repair of existing paver block in Cremation Ground parking Sector 25, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 21.85 lacs

·         Repair of damaged 60mm thick paver blocks adjoin neighbourhood parks in Sector 15 A&B, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 12.25 lacs

·         Repair of damaged 60mm thick paver of flooring at Cheap House Sector 19-D, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 4.81 lacs

·         Providing and fixing paver block in Taxi Stand parking near Light Point Sector 22 & 23, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 5.71 lacs

·         Re-leveling and repair of PCC Tiles along outer road berm in Sector 25, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 24.12 lacs

·         Providing and Supplying, Providing and fixing fitness equipment and accessories for Gymnasium at Village Khudda Jassu, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 10.29 lacs.

·         Re-construction of Cement Concrete Flooring in Back Service lane at Sector 20, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 19.19 lacs.

·         Providing additional lights in the V6 lanes in the block from 3330 to 3412, Sector 22 D and from #501 to 696, Sector 22A, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 6.00 lacs.

·         Providing street lights arrangement in Sector 31, 32 and 33, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 48.42 lacs.

·         Providing street lights in Aman Chaman and Ambedkar Colony, Dhanas Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 4.94 lacs.

·         Providing and laying new 250mm (10”) i/d sewer line for separating commercial and residential area near Patel Market Sector 15, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 22.46 lacs.

·         Boring and installation of 01 No. 12”x8” (304.80×203.20mm) I/D Deep Bore Tubewell in Vikas Nagar Part-II (Sundar Nagar) at beside of H. No. 86, UT, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 34.98 lacs.

·         Construction of Public Toilet block near Food Street in Sector 48-C, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 26.15 lacs.

·         Providing and laying of Additional 450mm (18”) i/d & 300 mm (12”) i/d SWD pipe line for smooth Disposal of rain water infront of Sampark Center, Sector 45-C, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 18.07 lacs

·         Special repair and renovation of old Toilet at Palsora in Green Belt Sector 55, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 7.77 lacs.

·         Construction of toe wall, providing and planting in   Green Belt Sector 39 A&B and providing and fixing of MS Flat railing in park near H. No. 1605, Sector 40, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 26.14 lacs.

·         Re-development of green belts/ community park near Masjid and Pond park near Bus stand Maloya, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 25.47 lacs.

·         The repair of entries and raising the level of jogging track in Joggers Park, Sector 15, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 30.62 lacs.

·         The construction of Walking track in various parks of Ward No. 26, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 45.24 lacs.

·         The re-laying cement concrete walking track by demolishing existing damaged track in garden of shadows, Sector 15, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 24.56 lacs.

·         The work of repair/Renovation of Public Toilets Block in Sector 21 near Fish Market, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 24.05 lacs.

·         Restoration of street light system on V3 road, Sector 5/6, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 13.35 lacs.

·         Construction and repair of damaged footpath along with V-5 road in Sector 39 A, B & D, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 20.69 lacs.

·         Providing, supplying, fixing and placing of Furniture, Crockery, Electronic items & Construction of open kitchen in Community Centre, Sector 35, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 36.79 lacs.

·         Uplifting of central verge chequered PCC tiles on V-3 Rod Sector 44/45, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 16.68 lacs.

·         Dismantling/relaying/providing and of kerb and laying cement concrete in channel on V-6 Road Sector 44 A&B, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 11.62 lacs.

·         Laying of Paver Blocks near Mandi Ground Sector 43 damaged during execution of laying of RCC pipeline for providing SWD system by PH wing MC, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 2.64 lacs.

·         Providing/ Fixing & repair of 60mm thick interlocking paver blocks on road berm, 80mm on road and providing channel for improvement of drainage on V-6 road back side Himalaya Marg of sector 35-C, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 41.02 lacs.

·         Providing and fixing 80mm thick interlocking paver blocks on narrow roads in front of House No. 1604, 1622, 1651 and 1670, Sector 40-B, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 16.13 lacs.

·         Providing, supplying, fixing electronic gadgets, furniture items, fitness equipment gadgets for Gym in Community Centre, Sector 42, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 9.49 lacs.

·         Providing and fixing 80mm thick paver block along slow carriage way on V-3 Sector 36/42 on Attawa Chownk, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 6.05 lacs.

·         Construction and repair of damaged footpath along with V-5 road in sector 40 A, B, C & D, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 12.25 lacs.

·         Providing/fixing of Kerb & Channel and repair/ paint of existing railing in Sector 35-C, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 3.52 lacs.

·         Providing and laying of cement concrete channels at various roads at an estimated cost of Rs. 45.85 lacs.

·         Organizing capacity building workshop for 92 participating cities in Chandigarh on 19th & 20th December, 2022 at an estimated cost of Rs. 30.00 lacs of Municipal Corporation share.
