CM also announces new Ayurvedic dispensary at Jamli and new Patwar circle at Shikroha

He also announced upgradation of Government Ayurvedic Hospital, Soldha to 15 bedded capacity hospital and construction of a new building

Bilaspur, June 5 

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today inaugurated and laid foundation stones of development projects worth Rs. 43.05 crore in Shri Naina Devi Ji Vidhan Sabha constituency of Bilaspur district. 

He inaugurated projects worth Rs.19.24 crore, including double lane bridge over Ali Khad on Navgaon-Beri road constructed at a cost of Rs. 3.85 crore.

 He inaugurated Rs. 7.60 crore upgradation of Brahampukhar-Seli road,  upgradation of Diyothi to Laghat road at a cost of Rs. 5.19 crore,  building of Government High School Malokhar constructed at a cost of Rs. 59 lakh, additional building of Government High School Malokhar constructed at a cost of Rs. 80 lakh, Government High School Tepra Khas constructed at a cost of Rs. 59 lakh,  High School Seoul constructed at a cost of Rs. 40 lakh and Government Senior Secondary School Chhakoh constructed at a cost of Rs. 22 lakh.

The Chief Minister laid the foundation stones of various projects to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 23.81 crore.

He laid foundation stones of Rs. 17.90 crore improvement work of lift water supply scheme Leungdi Phase II and  water supply scheme Khui-Meeyathi, Rs.1.11crore improvement work of lift irrigation scheme Bag Fagalvata, Rs. 1.03 crore improvement work of lift irrigation scheme for Lower Kothipura, Rs. 42 lakh lift irrigation scheme Luharda Samardi in Tehsil Sadar,  Rs. 3.02 crore  improvement work of lift irrigation scheme Jukhala in tehsil Sadar.

 He also laid the foundation stone of Panchayat Ghar building Malokhar to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 33 lakh.

Earlier, the Chief Minister was accorded warm welcome on his arrival at Navgaon-Beri.

Later, while addressing the Dhanyawad rally organized at Ladaghat, Gram Panchayat, Soldha, the Chief Minister announced opening of Jal Shakti Division in Shri Naina Devi ji assembly constituency and upgradation of Primary Health Center Malokhar to Community Health Center.

He announced upgradation of Government High School Malokhar, Sai Brahmana and Niharkhan Vasal to Government Senior Secondary School, Government Middle School Doba, Digathali and Jamla to Government High School, Government Primary School Sohra Beuns, Kharsi and Piplughat to Government Middle School. He also announced upgradation of Government Ayurvedic Hospital, Soldha to 15 bedded capacity hospital and construction of a new building.

He also announced opening of new Ayurvedic dispensary at Jamli, opening of new Patwar circle at Shikroha, starting new bus route from Malokhar to Haridwar via Dayoth and Barmana to Shimla via Kharsi and also announced double laning of Navgaon-Beri road.

The Chief Minister announced to construct a science block at Government Senior Secondary School, Soldha, to start science classes in Government Senior Secondary School Chhakoh, to start commerce classes in Senior Secondary School Ranikotla, Sohri and Sikroha and to start science classes in Senior Secondary School Ranikotla, Swarghat and Toba.

Jai Ram Thakur announced construction of Bedaghat Sohra Beuns Leungdi Brahmana road, Ladaghat to Ghamrada, Thatch Lamni Soldha, Patwarkhana to Balwar, Bathoh Jyora road, Tunighat to Shikroha via Bagh Chamyara and Bungad Gaira Dabur to Ranikotla road under Mukhya Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna. He also announced opening of Krishi Prasar Kendra in the area and drinking water scheme of about Rs. 100 crore for the area.

The Chief Minister said that the tenure of the present State Government has been full of achievements. Effective steps have been taken to ensure all round development of every section and every sector. He said that the government has fulfilled all the promises by adopting the BJP’s election manifesto as its policy document, while adopting a humanitarian approach and has worked towards public welfare by starting new schemes and programmes.

State Government was laying emphasis on infrastructure development on the basis of the present requirement in remote areas. He said that the BJP government has tried to take the state forward while keeping culture of Himachal intact. Despite the crisis of Covid-19 during the tenure of four and a half years, the government has set new dimensions of development.

While thanking the Chief Minister for opening ITI in the area, Vice-Chairman, State Disaster Management Authority, Randhir Sharma said that during the tenure of the present government, many institutions and offices have been opened in Shri Naina Devi ji assembly constituency. He said that at present the development has got new dimensions from the double engine government of the Centre and state. He gave detailed information about the various demands of the area.
