Live Streaming of Kaushal Dikshant Samaroh 2023 held at Panjab University

Skill India organised Kaushal Dikshant Samaroh 2023, a convocation ceremony to recognise and honour the youth who have completed their training under the various schemes and programmes of Skill India under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. The event’s live streamingwas organised at Panjab University by the Centre for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship and the University Institute of Applied Management Sciences for the students, researchers and faculty. The audience witnessed the top performers from multiple skill development institutes being felicitated. The Hon’ble Prime Minister, in his address, reiterated that industry, research and skills have to be sensitive to the changing times. India is poised to become the global hub of skilled workforce through various government initiatives.

Punjab Civil Services (Judicial Branch) has released the result of PCS (Judicial) Exam on 11.10.2023 and 11 students from the Centre for IAS and Other Competitive Examinations, Ms. Sakshi Arora, Ms. Amanpreet Kaur, Ms. Gurleen Kaur, Ms. Amanatbir Kaur, Mr. Paramvir, Ms. Simarn, Ms. Himani, Ms. Parneet Kaur Saroy, Mr. Dasvinder Singh, Ms. Amandish Kaur, and Ms. Gunneek Kaur have cleared this exam.
Ms.Sakshi Arora (Rank 4), Ms. Amanpreet Kaur (Rank 12), Ms. Gurleen Kaur (Rank 15), Ms. Amanatbir Kaur (Rank 16), Mr. Paramvir (Rank 44) under General Category. Ms. Simran (Rank 4), Ms. Himani (Rank 5), Ms. Parneet Kaur Saroy (Rank 10) under SC Category. Mr. Dasvinder Singh (Rank 8), Ms. Amandish Kaur, (Rank 10) and Ms. Gunneek Kaur (Rank 14), under BC Category.
It is pertinent to mention here that many students of this Centre have achieved success in various Competitive Examinations and the Centre has an excellent record of Successes and Selections in various Competitive Examinations.
The Centre charges a nominal fee from aspirants of SC/ST category and a subsidized concessional fee from students of any other categories. Centre arranges Expert Talks/Special Lectures by Currently Serving IAS Officers/Ex-Civil Servants/Bureaucrats/State Civil Service Executives/Judges etc. to assist students in comprehensive preparation of various Competitive Examinations.

Department of Defence and National Security Studies in association with Forum for Awareness of National Security is organizing a Seminar on the theme – “Pakistan Crisis: Impact on India & South Asian Region” on 13th October 2023 at Rajiv Gandhi College Bhavan, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
The topic of seminar is of National importance and the current situation in Pakistan needs deliberation to analyse and assess its impact on India and the South Asian region at large. Admiral Sunil Lanba (retd.) will be the Chief Guest at the event. Sh. Indresh Kumar, Executive Member, National Working Committee, RSS will be the Keynote Speaker at the event. Other speakers at the event will include R. K. Kaushik IAS, Col. Jaibans Singh (retd.), Prateek Joshi (Oxford University), Ashish Shukla (IDSA), Ashish Kaul (Author) and Prof. Mahatab Alam from Jamia Millia Islamia University.
