The Khelo India Youth Games-2021 is creating the perfect environment to boost the morale and enthusiasm of the players and to entertain the spectators during the games.
Whenever a team or player wins in any competition, Jai-Vijay and Dhakad dance with enthusiasm on Haryanvi and Punjabi songs. In fact, the players dance with them.
Spectators who visit the Tau Devi Lal Stadium, are keen on taking selfies with Jay-Vijay and Dhakad. The spectators are taking selfies at various selfie points installed at different places in the stadium.
In order to eternalise the memories of Khelo India Youth Games-2021, the winning players are being given a memorial souvenir of mascot Dhakad along with medals.
Whenever it comes to sports in the country, the name of the state of Haryana tops the list as its players are very good. In Haryana, such a person is called Dhakad who is very strong and powerful. The players of Haryana are leaving their imprints at the national and international levels despite all odds. The state of Haryana is among the leading states in Khelo India Youth Games 2021.
Governor, Sh. Bandaru Dattatraya will be the chief guest at the closing ceremony of Khelo India Youth Games-2021
The Khelo India Youth Games-2021, which started from June 4, 2022 at Tau Devi Lal Sports Complex, Panchkula in Haryana, has now reached its peak and will conclude with a grand ceremony on June 13, 2022.
An official spokesperson said that the closing ceremony of Khelo India Youth Games will be organized from 5 pm tomorrow at Indradhanush Auditorium, Panchkula.
Haryana Governor, Sh. Bandaru Dattatraya will be the chief guest at the closing ceremony of Khelo India Youth Games-2021, while Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal and Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Sh. Anurag Singh Thakur will be the Guests of Honour.
Haryana Girls bag two Medals in Archery during Khelo India Youth Games-2021
Proving their mettle once again in sports, Haryana Girls have completely dominated the Final archery competitions during Khelo India Youth Games-2021.
Ridhi of Karnal bagged Gold medal while Tamana of Rohtak won Silver medal in Women recurve archery compititions.
Pooja Khanna, para-olympian and senior coach in Haryana said that both the players have given a stellar performance in Women recurve archery competitions. She informed that earlier both international players had participated in World Archery Championship and bagged gold medals.
In addition to this, Avneet of Punjab won silver medal in Women recurve archery medal. Madala Surya Hamsini of Andhra Pradesh won Bronze medal while Vitasa Thakur of Madhya Pradesh won Bronze medal in the same competition.
All the medal winners were honoured by Deputy Commissioner, Chandigarh, Sh. Vinay Pratap Singh.
