Chandigarh, July 29:
The Punjab school teachers and officials, who were participating in the Happiness Utsav-2022 at Delhi as part of the efforts of Punjab Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann for establishing a better education system in the state, were given warm welcome at Thyagraj Indoor Stadium. The delegation led by Mr. Kuljit Pal Singh Mahi, DPI, Secondary Education, Punjab was specially invited by the Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Manish Sisodia.
Addressing the gathering, Delhi Chief Minister Mr. Arvind Kejriwal said that the happiness curriculum is playing a pivotal role in finding the causes of the anger in children and resolving the problems. He said that with this initiative, coupled with significant results, will prove to be icing on cake as this way of teaching helps the children to focus on their mind and brain during school hours.
Mr. Kejriwal said that teachers play an important role in making the students good citizens and the happiness curriculum is also fulfill this purpose in a better way. He appealed all the teachers that investment made today in a child’s education will bring great results in future.
“The happiness curriculum should also be implemented in other states”, emphasized Mr. Kejriwal, adding that according to the feedback of the students, who have been studying the Happiness Curriculum since 4 years, has revealed that their self-confidence has been increased.
Delhi Education Minister Mr. Manish Sisodia also thanked teachers and officials from Punjab.
