“To facilitate the citizens of the city Department of Information Technology Chandigarh Administration kickstarted all Aadhar related services for citizens on Sunday as well.
The decision to open five Sampark centres on Sundays got a welcoming response from the citizens. Despite heavy rainfall, people has turned up in a good number to avail aadhar related services across these centres.
Director Sh. Rupesh Kumar, IAS has visited these centres and directed the staff to make these centres more citizens friendly by providing necessary infrastructure comprising portable drinking water, clean washrooms, visitors’ chairs etc. He also requested the public to spread awareness among fellow citizens to avail these services and make this initiative more successful.
