Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam was one of India’s most renowned presidents and scientist. He is regarded as one of the greatest teachers in addition to being known as the “Missile Man of India.” He played a leading role in India’s advancement in both space and defence research.

He passed away on July 27, 2015, while delivering a lecture at the Indian Institute of Management in Shillong. He was born on October 15, 1931.

Since the beginning, he was an intelligent and hardworking student who liked to learn new things and spent hours into his studies. He studied Aerospace Engineering and Physics. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam also served as a scientist and science administrator for the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) and Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO).

He had also written a number of books. Several of his books have been bestsellers. Some of his popular books are Wings of Fire, Ignited Minds, Turning Points, India 2020, and Transcendence.
