On this occasion, UVM President Kailash Chand Jain said that the shopkeepers who have put up their shop boards at the designated place to put up display boards for the shops, even if they belong to a company and if the said shopkeeper sells the goods of the said company, then that shopkeeper should have full right to put up the board. Kailash Jain also demanded that the shopkeeper should be given a warning notice to take down the board without any advertisement fee in order to remove the wrong boards.

Former councilor Devender Singh Babla also demanded that before taking action against the shopkeeper or any person, they must be given an opportunity of being heard. It should not be a one-sided decision.

The Mayor, after listening carefully to the point of the delegation, assured of appropriate action in the matter. After that, the delegation also met Additional Commissioner Rahul Gupta and got his attention drawn on these subjects and demanded relief to the traders, on which Additional Commissioner Rahul Gupta agreed with the demands of the delegation and assured that the wrong notice would be returned.
