To commemorate the International Yoga Day tomorrow, preparations at PGIMER are in full swing. The day will be celebrated at PGIMER with the engagement of faculty, staff and students and their families. The theme for this Yoga day is “Yoga for Humanity”.

The day will start with a yoga session from 6-7 am at Zakir Hall wherein a Common Yoga Protocol will be organised for faculty, residents, researchers, staff, students and their family members.

This will be followed by an Online lecture series from 7:30 am onward which will be addressed by eminent speakers including Prof. Vivek Lal, Director PGIMER, Dr. Sara W. Lazar Associate Professor, General Hospital and Harvard University , Dr. Jaideep Arya Chairman, Haryana Yog Aayog Panchkula, Prof. Akshay Anand Prof. In change CCRYN Yoga Centre PGIMER, Chandigarh, and Prof. G. There is more in the offing during the day as a training session will be held from 11-11.30 am for the nominated nodal officers from various departments to train them  for workplace ‘Yoga Y break’,  Yoga protocol prescribed by Ministry of AYUSH.

This wonderful Yoga protocol, from the Level 3 Yoga trainers, will help the participants in stretching  and rejuvenating  in the middle of the day, in office or OPD/OT/lab clothes, unleashing new strength for the rest of the day
