A Tool-Kits distribution programme was organised at the Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Sector 15, Panchkula.
Jai Kaushik, Municipal Councillor, Sector 15, Panchkula was the chief guest on this occasion .
He distributed 72 Beauty and Wellness Tool-Kits to the students of Beauty and Wellness vocation in the school. He also addressed the students and encouraged them to use the kits not only for their practical purposes in the School but also to earn with it at their homes.
The Principal of the School Kamlesh Chauhan also addressed the beneficiary students. She also motivated the students to get best use of the toolkits for their better future. She also informed the students that it is a Haryana Government’s initiative under, “Earn while Learn” programme.
Jaibir Singh, Vocational Lecturer of the School also addressed the students and told the importance of the vocationalization of the School education. He added that school level vocational education can be a lucrative opportunity for students and it can contribute effectively in generating employment opportunities . By getting skilled in different vocations they can make their future in respective jobs and can also start their own businesses, he added.
Rishu, Vocational Instructor informed that the students are very enthusiastic by getting the tool-Kits and now they will take part in their learning more efficiently. She also informed that Beauty and Wellness Kit contains total 42 items, which all are essential for the training. Senior citizens Daulat Rana and Dharam Mangala from Sector 15, Panchkula were also present in the programme.
