Chandigarh, June 11
On the 7th day of the Khelo India Youth Games 2021-22, the Chandigarh basketball team defeated a strong and well-built Rajasthan team with a score of 79-75 points.
The Chandigarh boys maintained a lead of 10 points, Rajasthan team chased the Chandigarh team to equalize the score and succeeded in the 3rd quarter, but in the 4th and final quarter, the Chandigarh teams played with do or die spirit to win the match.
On the other hand, Chandigarh Judoka Master Himanshu topped in his pool defeating Maharastra, West Bengal and Delhi Judokas and in the knock out final round Himanshu settled with Silver medal with a narrow margin behind the Haryana Judoka.
In Boxing sport Master Asish Hooda in 71 Kgs Wt. Category beat Rajsthan contender with 5-0 score in one sided fought bout. In another bout Miss Ruchita Dudy won her bout in 70 Kgs wt. Category thrashing Uttar Pradesh with 5-0 Points.
