Chandigarh, July 26:-
The Finance & Contract Committee of Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh has accorded approval for body worn cameras and safety jackets for the enforcement wing employees, MCC during a meeting held here today under the chairpersonship of Smt. Sarbjit Kaur Dhillon, Mayor and attended by Ms. Anindita Mitra, IAS, Commissioner (through online) and other members of committee namely Sh. Mahesh Inder Singh Sidhu, Sh. Saurabh Joshi, Smt. Gurbax Rawat (through online), Smt. Taruna Mehta and other senior officers of MCC were present during the meeting.
The members of committee discussed various other important agenda items in detail and accorded approval for the following:
1. Rough cost estimate for providing new road guilies & storm limes at various location in Ward No. 12, Chandigarh for strengthening of strm water drainage system at an estimated cost of Rs. 22.45 lac
2. Rough cost estimate for the work of “Construction of RCC UGR of 1,00,000 Gallons capacity alongwith boosting arrangement near tubewell no R-3, Daria, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 47.45 lakh
3. The committee member approved the recommendations of the condemnation board of the Chandigarh Administration for the auction of 07 Nos. Head Office staff cars, Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh.
4. The committee member providing and fixing billiards table and tennis table at Community Centre, Sector 15, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 4.25 lakh.
5. Development of 03 nos. Park in Sector 41, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 7.55 lacs.
6. Providing and fixing of pipe benches in various parks and green belts of Sector 37 & 38, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 13.07 lacs.
7. Providing and fixing of open air gym fitness equipments in park near House No. 2199 to 2208, Sector 38, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 4.41 lacs.
8. Development of park adjacent to Hotel Park View, Sector 24, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 19.42 lacs.
9. Providing decorative lights in day market in Sector 46-B and High Electric Pole decorative lights in Sector 46-C, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 27.74 lacs
10. Restoration of street light system of road in front of Community Centre, Sector 26, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 14.09 lacs.
11. Proposal lighting arrangement at various location in Sector 37 and 38 (Ward No. 25), Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 24.11 lacs.
12. Providing and fixing of Children Play equipments in various parks of Sector 29, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 15.96 lacs.
13. Rough cost estimate for providing storm water drainage system for H. No. 1 to 34, opposite jewellery market, Sector 22, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 22.39 lacs.
14. Rough cost estimate for “Desilting/cleaning of existing sewer line by mechanized system using super suction machine for up-gradation of infrastructure and Beautification in Ward No. 9 (Industrial Area Phase-I), Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 11.55 lacs.
15. Rough cost estimate for B/I one no. 12”x8” (304.80 x 203.20mm) i/d deep bore tubewell (with reverse rig method and any method of latest technology) at STP, Raipur Khurd, U.T., Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 46.73 lacs.
16. Rough cost estimate for the work of “procurement of 14 Nos. Fire breathing apparatus through GeM portal for various functions at an estimated cost of Rs. 8.31 lacs.
17. Rough cost estimate for construction of channel covered with precast RCC grating for storm water disposal near water works boundary and phirni road of village kajheri U.T., Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 21.02 lacs.
18. Rough cost estimate for “Desilting/cleaning of existing sewer line by mechanized system using super suction machine for up-gradation of infrastructure and beautification in ward no. 19, (Industrial Area Phase –II), Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 45.16 lacs.
19. Proposal for the work for “Providing and Construction of Multiplay Courtyard for skating, Volley Ball & Badminton Court inside community centre, sector 15, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 26.26 lacs.
20. Rough cost estimate for the work “Renovation of Public Toilet Blocks near showrooms and near light point booth no. 61 in sector 16-D, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 40.56 lacs.
22. Rough cost estimate for the work of “Strengthening of sewerage system for EWS Colony by providing and laying 200 mm (8”) i/d SW pipe line and contingent works thereto in Sector 32-C, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 23.29 lacs.
23. The committee member approved the agenda for purchase of 2 Dog Vans for Animal Birth Control Programme at an estimated cost of Rs. 30.50 lacs.
24. Lifting, treatment & Disposal of Domestic Hazardous Waste excluding Bio-Medical Waste at an estimated cost of Rs. 10.00 lac per annum.
26. Providing and fixing Roller Blinds and Zebra Blinds in newly constructed Community Centre in Sector 21, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 9.89 lacs.
27. Providing and fixing MS flat railing centre verge on V-3 road Sector 20/21, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 49.73 lacs.
28. Hiring of Leachate Suction Machine for collection and transportation of leachate at Dumping Ground – enhancement of trips.
30. Landscaping work in Various parks of sector 20, Chandigarh by providing & planting different type of Ornamental Plants, Flowering Shrub and ground covers etc. at an estimated cost of Rs. 31.49 lacs.
31. Upgradation of flooring area in Shopping Centre, Sector 32-D, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 49.12 lacs.
32. Renovation of Community Centre in Modern Housing Complex, Manimajra Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 37.29 lacs.
33. Upgradation of footpath in front of SCO/SCF Booth market and backside of SCO using retrieved paver blocks in Sector 46-C, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 25.41 lacs.
34. Re-construction of cement concrete flooring in back service lane in sector 30, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 13.15 lacs.
