Chandigarh July 18, 2022.
The members of Panjab University Non-Pensioners Association (Teaching & Non-Teaching) met Shri Satya Pal Jain, Additional Solicitor General of India and Member, Panjab University Senate, on 17th of July, 2022 at his residence.
The Association members congratulated Shri Satya Pal Jain Ji on his land-slide victory, along with his team, in the Panjab University Senate election.
The Association members presented a bouquet/shawal and wished him, all the best. A large number of employees (Working and Retd.) were present at his residence,
Among others, the member include Professor Ved Parkash Upadhyaya (Chairman of the Association), Shri Lajpat Rai ( President ),Professor Asha Maudgil, Mrs Ved Kumari ,Shri Parkash Sharma, Shri Mahinder Pal, Mrs. Sarita Gupta, Shri Som Parkash, Shri Kashi Nath Pandey, Shri Tarliok Chand, Shri Varinder Kumar, Shri S.S. Bains ,Mr Subhash Chander and others .
The members requested and hoped that Shri Satya Pal Jain ji would solve the pending issues, including the issue of pension, at the earliest as the delay would add up to the woes of the non-pensioners. Shri Satya Pal Jain listened to the members of Association very patiently and opined that it is their genuine demand.
He assured that he would definitely talk to the Vice Chancellor to resolve this issue which is pending for quite a long time.
The members also assured to stand-by him in every thick and thin.
