“Guru – Shishya” tradition is the foundation of Indian Cultural Heritage – Satya Pal Jain

Chandigarh. July 13, 2022. 

Yuva Sanklap Foundation as well as the Devalya Pujak Parishad today celebrated “Guru Purnima” and “Vyas Puja” in various parts of the city. The Programme was organised at about 52 places and various Temples in Chandigarh.

             Sh. Satya Pal Jain, Ex MP and Additional Solicitor General of India was the Chief Guest in the main programme held in Sector 18 Mandir. Addressing he gathering Sh. Jain said that “Guru – Shishya” tradition is the foundation of Indian cultural heritage and India is the only country where the Guru and Teacher is worshiped once in every year on the Guru Purnima day. Sh. Jain also said that Indian Culture is the oldest culture in the world where the Guru is worshiped like God.

                Sh. Davesh Moudgil who is also the Chairman of the Yuva Sanklap Foundation and Sh. Lal Bahadur Dube, President of the Devalya Pujak Parishad said that today’s programme of celebrating “Guru Purnima:” by reciting Hanuman Chalisa at about 52 places in Chandigarh has been done with a view to make people aware of the importance of the Guru as well as the “Guru Shishya” tradition.
