Panjab University’s highly popular course on Digital Marketing is all set to begin on July 25 on SWAYAM, a portal of the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
There is no enrollment fee for the course and students may enrol for the course at onlinecourses.swayam2.ac.in/cec22_mg26/preview . Dr Tejinderpal Singh, Associate Professor, University Business School is offering this course for the sixth time on the SWAYAM platform and the curriculum is based on industry practices and standards.
According to Dr Singh, anyone who wants to hone digital marketing skills may join this course on the SWAYAM platform.
This course is following application-based teaching-learning pedagogy where learners will be exposed to various tools, platforms and techniques of digital marketing such as WordPress, Google Ads, Email Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Google Analytics etc.
The course has 40 online modules, spreading over 15 weeks. Each module consists of interactive videos, e-text, online resources, learning activities, formative assessment and discussion forums. Discussion forums are highly effective in peer learning where participants may pose their queries and also help others to clear their doubts.
It is 4 credit course and the final examination is conducted by National Testing Agency to certify successful learners under the banner of Panjab University.
It is worth mentioning here that more than 53000 participants have registered for this course since its launch in 2019. Semester-wise, detail of the registrants is given below

The course has visibility at the global level as it has been ranked amongst the top 15 online courses worldwide (amongst the top 5 in India) by Class Central in the year 2019.
Further, in the recent survey conducted by The Ministry of Education (May 2022) , this course has been included in the top 10 courses based on credits transfers. The last date to register for the course is August 31, 2022.
