Vedant Saini of BVC trail blazes in IMO held at Norway

Bags the Bronze Medal making the country proud

Chandigarh 18th July, 2022:

Vedant Saini, a student of Bhavan Vidyalaya Chandigarh made the school proud once again by winning a Bronze Medal at the 63rd International Mathematics Olympiad held at Oslo, Norway from 6 to 16 July 2022. He was a part of the team comprising 6 students who had been selected for the Indian team, based on their performance in the Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM).

A student of class 11th Science, Vedant had also represented India at the International Maths Olympiad, St Petersburg, 2021. Owing to the COVID pandemic this was then held as an online event. It is notable that he was earlier selected for the acclaimed Asia Pacific Maths Olympiad 2022 from the north-west region, India. This promising youngster has also bagged AIR-1 at Technothlon 2021 held by IIT Guwahati.

Director & Senior Principal Mrs. Vineeta Arora and Vice Principal Ms. Suparna Bansal congratulated Vedant for his incredible achievement and wished him good luck for all future endeavours.
