Mohali, May 11, 2023: Dr Mohinder Kaushal, Chairman and Medical Director, Trinity Hospital & Medical Research Institute, Zirakpur, represented North India at the prestigious World Spine Week, 2023, held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, Australia.
The event, spanning over five days, saw the participation of globally renowned spine surgeons and esteemed societies from India, Japan, US, Korea, Australia, including AO Spine, Association of Spine Surgeons of India, Asia Pacific Spine Society, European Spine General, Spine Society of Australia, and North American Spine Societies. Dr Kaushal delivered a talk on “Endoscopic discectomy for recurrent lumbar disc herniation” at the Scientific Program. Additionally, he also chaired a panel discussion for paper presentations, further adding to his laurels.
The event saw the attendance of more than 20 countries and over 1000 doctors, who presented their papers, posters, and delivered talks on numerous spine-related topics. The occasion also witnessed the participation of renowned international companies such as Medtronic, Brainlab, Signus Australia, Zeiss, among many others, who showcased their products and services in the fields of orthopedics and neurology.
While sharing his experience, Dr Mohinder Kaushal stated that it was an enriching experience attending World Spine Week, Australia and observing the evolution in the field of Spine Treatment with emerging technology.
