Job Fair 2022 for Students of Polytechnic Colleges and Government ITIs organised

Chandigarh, July 27

Directorate of Technical Education UT Chandigarh in collaboration with Chandigarh Skill Development Mission organized a Job Fair today for the students of Polytechnic  Colleges and Government ITIs at Chandigarh College of Engg. & Technology.

The Adviser to Administrator, Sh. Dharam Pal inaugurated the Job Fair 2022- ”Building your Future”  in the presence of Smt. Purva Garg, Secretary Technical Education.

Dr Sukhdev Singh Bhogal, Chairman  Job Fair 2022 informed that around  500 students from CCET Diploma Wing, Sector 26, Government Polytechnic for Women, Sector 10, Government ITI, Sector 28, Government ITI for Women, Sector 11 participated in this Job Fair 2022. A total of 29 companies participated in this fair and it is expected that around 300 students of Polytechnics and ITIs will be benefitted from this drive.

Excellent career opportunities were provided by  the reputed companies and Industries like  Cheema Boilers,Tech Mahindra, Allena group, Edulaunchers , Swaraj Engines etc. targeting technical and other emerging fields in the Country as well as globally.

Smt. Purva Garg, Secretary Technical Education in her address speech welcomed the entire fraternity. She said that such events are essential in today’s high tech rapidly changing global market. 

The Chief Guest applauded the efforts put in by the department of Technical Education, U.T. Chandigarh for organising such a mega event. He wished that this job fair would provide multiple possibilities of jobs and Internships. This event would give a platform that will provide an opportunity for the students to interact with the professionals.

Vote of thanks was proposed by the Director Technical Education, Chandigarh Administration, Sh. Amandeep Singh Bhatti, PCS . He also congratulated the organizers for successfully conducting the Job Fair and thanked all the dignitaries, delegates and the participants.
